Lucas is not only a good puncher but he thinks in the ring and has some boxing skills. I have him as the favorite for this fight. He is as legit as they come, he has become a better fighter after his loses.

If the Garcia camp is smart they have to fight him at a certain distance and turn him at all times

Even if Garcia loses to Matthysse, just by taking the fight, he's a winner in my book. Matthysse has to be the one of the most feared fighters in the game right now. I'd love to see Matthysse and Broner fight next. I think outside of Floyd, nobody at 140-147 can beat Matthysse.

September 14th is going to be ****ing epic. Two fights with two KO specialists so both Garcia and Floyd are in serious jeopardy, though I'm predicting Floyd and Matthysse that night. And if Matthysse beats Garcia, he can be matched up against almost anyone after that, and it will be must-see TV. I'd like to see Broner, Floyd, Cotto, Marquez, Bradley, and or Pac face him. But due to politics, it will probably be either Broner or Floyd, imo.

If Garcia had taken the fight earlier this year instead of Judah, when Lucas was his mandatory and calling him out, I'd give him credit just for taking the fight. He has no choice but to fight Lucas now if he wants to keep his belt and respect.
