This guy sure is doing a lot of talking for somebody who's supposed to be "humble". I will lmao if Garcia wins. Under that scenario, I'm going to have a lot of fun antagonizing Lutards.
Junior welterweight contender Lucas Matthysse (34-2, 32KOs) is confident that eventually he will catch up with WBA/WBC champion Danny Garcia (26-0, 16KOs) and knock him out on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The match is going to happen on the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Saul "Canelo" Alvarez undercard. Matthysse has seen several of Garcia's fights and he likes what he sees.
If Matthysse focuses on catching Garcia's left hook/ overhand right and shooting; countering, then he can win this. If tries to go in there bust the door down as he did against Soto, where he was getting touched far too much for my liking, then it's 50-50 fight and that only increases Garcia's chances. That's the way I see it, he needs to respect Garcia's timing, power and counter punching or else he can find himself in trouble.

90% of this is taken and translated over and over again from a few interviews and radio phone calls floating around. He's cetainly humble, and he sure respects the guy. All he said so far is that he's confident he's winning and KO like he did in pretty much all of his fights. Why shouldnt he? We all know he's killing Danny.
