i saw some of the beginning and the last 2 rounds and Estrada looked very good in that time but were the middle rounds (3-9) close?

I think 115-113 is the widest Estrada could've won by. The fight was competitive and entertaining.

I wouldn't have had too much of a problem with Estrada winning a close decision, but to give Melindo less than 3 rounds is plain ******. Estrada won 9-12 based on the fact that he was throwing HARD combinations and getting off first. In rounds 1-9 he didn't put in the same effort and was countered, stunned, and outfought by Melindo. At most (with biased eyes), you could have the first 9 rounds scored 5-4 for Melindo.
