For me the shady way the promotion was organise it makes me doubt this test, could he have used something? Obviously yes and yes am taking into consideration his history and the fact that he has been away from boxing for a while. Having said all of that I would give him the benefit of doubt until his samples are tested out by another independent lab, if a crook like Don King can request for the same sample that the Russians had and the refuse to give it to him for an American lab to test it out then the promotion leaves themselves open for excuses in the case of a positive test from the other boxer... As much as I am against drug cheetahs am not believing this shady **** promotion. The promotion being shady doesn't mean Jones, who tested positive for the same substance before, didn't legitimately do so again.
I'm not saying it's a legit result either, but I don't see why some are acting as if the result must be or is overwhelmingly likely to be bogus.Last edited by Ray*; 07-28-2013, 03:53 AM.Comment

Agreed on all front here, I hope they did give Don King the same sample that they took off Jones and if that same sample did confirm a positive test for furosemide then he would be ban and stripped but the way the promoters conduct themselves during the fight I was expecting something like this, boxing is a shady sport. If people like Povetkin can distance himself from the same promoter and Wlad can seek assurance then you there is something wrong here.Comment

Yes some are but this guy isn't american... The WBA are going to open his B sample and get that one tested too but Mr Jones has to do that and his cost, and this is the way to go. If he doesn't get his B sample tested he would be stripped by the WBA just like they stripped lamont PEDerson not bad action by the WBA at all.Comment
