Roy Jones Jr vs Si Hun Park

Sorry for going on a little rjj tangent here, but i was just wondering what other posters here thought about this massive screwjob. what other fight it it comparable to?
for those who dont know, roy dominated the first round, was winning the second round convincingly before the ref made park take a standing 8 count because he was being staggered with every punch. in the third round, jones staggered hun about eight times, with the ref almost stepping in to either stop the fight or give hun a standing eight count three times. after the final bell rang, hun did not raise his hand, but walked rather dejecetdly into his corner.
    Final count-a-punch statistics show

    Jones Park
    303 Thrown 188
    86 Landed 32
    28% Percent 17%

Out of 5 judges, it was a 3-2 decision for hun.
After the decision was read, hun picked up roy jones as a sign of respect.
Consequently, the Olympics were held in seol korea
    hun is from korea

reading a few of KT's books he speaks about this fight a fair bit.
The word is that one of the judges thought to himself " this bloke has been beaten so badly that i will score the fight for him so as not to totally humiliate him in front of his home fans" and apparantly thats what 2 other judges did too!!!

the result being him getting more sympathy votes that RJJ ended up getting!

yeah Roy completely dominated the fight i have no idea how they scored it for Park because after Roy would land a good combo park wouldnt even respond

L'equipe the french sports daily had a headline that roughly translates "to vommit" after the fight. BTW, I have seen the second round on clips, but for some reason no one seems to have the other 2 rounds. I would love to see just how bad the worst decision in boxing history was.

I saw that fight live when i was stationed in korea. The korean won on points, jones threw a lot of punches but nothing landed flush. In olympics the host country atheletes always get home crowd bonus pts anyway.

Either way Roy never seemed to like grappling with the guy, always turning his head. Supposedly the korean ate some mad kimchi right before the fight to distract Roy.

you have no idea what your talking about
watch the fight dude, roy was connecting at will, all the time and park never answered and never landed a power flush shot. roy kicked the **** out of him. if they fought without the headgear, roy would have knocked him out in 2. eaily the worst decision in olympic boxing history, the worst decision in amatuer boxing history and possibly the worst robbery in all of boxing

Bull**** roy got owned on pts. Knockdowns and **** like that means crap in olympic boxing where only pts matter. Roy got owned worse than his KO by glen johnson!

Everyone knows it was a robbery, why even bring it up?

Also, Pretender is just messing with you. That's how he rolls. He says the most ridiculous things in the world.
