In the 24 7 marquez beat down a punching bag in one punch, thats when i knew Pac was in trouble. Im still asking myself how the hell marquez suddenly turned into this monster puncher. Am i wrong when i say you cant really train your punching power, its something you are born with or without, and no matter how hard paulie mallignaggi trains he will never become a power puncher.

When JMM trained for Floyd his workout regime consisted of drinking piss and hurling rocks! He hired memo to bring him out the Stone Age (pun intended), of course you will see great results when you stop poisoning yourself and train with the right equipment. Also anyone that didn't instantly recognize that JMM specifically was going for the KO this fight is blind. I watched the fight with 3 buddies who were all blinded by PAC's flash, but by the 2nd round I told them to observe how JMM was loading up on the right. He'd hurt PAC in the other fights without ever loading up, good game plan by Nacho, huge massive watermelon balls by JMM for following it.

All this does is damage Juan's reputation, Nacho is sounding as ******ed as Roach did with the whole "Well they tested him before", we're talking about Bradley's demands here, I want to hear it straight from Marquez's mouth. Did commentators like Lampley question Pacquiao as they did Marquez?? No.
They simply swept it under the rug and continued to ride the Manny train.

So I would have to say that no, it did not sound ******, because people or atlest the majority of the fans and media believed Roach.

People are being unfair to Marquez just because the hype job Pac got ko'd.

One Punch KO Artist?

JMM has always had a punch that would KO any fighter if he landed it.

I agree with you on this, because I am a big fan of Marquez. Although the majority of his KOs come from combination punches rather than just 1 punch. But nonetheless, I think that the capability to provide a KO punch will not necessarily come from roiding.

What I found strange about Marquez' last fight with Pac was how he was able to survive what Pac was dishing out just before he was KOd. JMM was taking a beating and had his nose broken, but the rest of his body absorbed the shots really well.


It seems that the consensus among many of the fans (even JMM fans) is the sudden increase in his muscle mass and definition, compounded by the fact that he is almost 40 years old!

What I find interesting and disappointing though is Nacho's choice of words and statements. He does not provide an outright denial that his star pupil is taking PEDS. He is saying the bare minimum in that 'they will not find anything' in Marquez' body.

The "certain kinda testing" in Bradley's contract is just the testing that the Olympian athletes have to take...
