George Groves has dismissed suggestions that his world title bout with Carl Froch has come too early in his career. The 25-year-old will fight fellow Englishman Froch for his IBF and WBA super middleweight titles in either late November or early December.

Groves is unbeaten in 19 bouts, winning 15 by knockout, and he believes the time is right for him to fight for a world title. The London boxer told Sky Sports News: "Look at the good world champions, past and present. They usually challenge for a world title around the 20-bout mark.

Looks like a few people dont recognise a tongue-in-cheek jokey comment when they see one (the softening up in sparring one!)... I think Groves may surprise a few people in this fight, not sure he'll be able to beat Froch as it will be stacked in his favour, but it won't be an easy nights work for Froch thats for damned sure.
