Cleverly might win, maybe even by stoppage, but surprised there's already 2 stoppage predictions considering he doesn't even stop the bums he's been fighting.

So I'm guessing he wasn't in good shape after 6 rounds. So as I said, IF Cleverly is in GOOD SHAPE after six rounds he wins.

The reasoning, in my case, is that Kovalev has only been past 3 rounds three times. If he doesn't hurt Cleverly early on how will he be feeling in the later rounds?

He might have excellent stamina or he might gas out. Not even he knows how he'll do in the 9th, 10th 11th & 12th rounds.

Either Kovalev wins within the first six or Cleverly after that.

Did you know that same guy had Ward nearly gone? Also stopped LHW champ Stevenson

Gotcha, Kovalev might gas and is unproven over distance.

The "great" Boone... He put Ward down, face first.

                  Nothing against reasoning.
But did you see Clev showing some solid defensive skills that would nullify Kovalev's mobile power style?

Were you high when you last watched Kovalev fight, or have you never seen a Cleverly fight? Cleverly has much, much faster hands than Kovalev. No question. Not even close. Doesn't mean he'll win, although he has an excellent chance, but it should be noted.

Love this fight. It's risky for both fighters and it isn't clear who's going to win. The common, 1+1=11 opinion is that Kovalev flattens Cleverly, but that clearly isn't going to happen unless Cleverly fights in a monumentally ****** fashion. This fight is going to be very competitive.

Yes, but not recently. But when he was up & coming he was a fairly smooth & decent defensive boxer.

But lately he's been trading more. Which will be a huge mistake against this guy.
