Anthony Joshua has chosen his trainer..

Tony Sims is going to be his trainer.

For my American friends, this is the guy who trains Lee Purdy and Darren Barker.

    Any thoughts? Good choice?

    Goodbye, Anthony

IMO, not a great choice, but we'll see.

I like Sims, but I don't think he's a top notch trainer if you know what I mean?

Reminds me a bit of when Lennox turned pro with John Davenport, and unfortunately, it took a loss for him to change trainers. Hope the same doesn't happen.

Damn not a very good choice. Being a superHW with not really great ability I would have picked a emphatic trainer. Maybe Abel, buddy or booth.

He is a little raw. Should have gotten an American trainer to be honest.

Oof. Should have gone with McCracken or Booth IMO.

Thought and hoped it would be McCracken or at least Booth or Jimmy/Mark Tibbs....not that pleased to hear it is Sims who is 'good' but not great when it comes to delivering the goods on the world scene.
