Well, to be fair, he did better against common opponent Alexander.

Although in a h2h of the two Argentines, I still got Maidana.

gotta agree there. Danny's hype is based off the Khan ko and 2 wins on Morales. He didnt ko theopane, didnt ko campbell. or Holt. not even Judah. Danny dont believe his own bull**** i think.

I think Danny will do better than many expect he will, but at the end I also expect him to get laid out.

His advice to Danny is basically don't believe the hype, because people are building him up like he is unstoppable. It's a shame when a boxer that don't even like Danny Garcia is telling him his opponent ain't what all groupies are saying.

Garcia not listening though, that's why he chilling, making raps.
He's only telling Danny how to survive the fight and just not get caught up by thinking about what could happen before it does happen I think he recognizes that Matthysse is dangerous but you can't focus on that going into the fight. Even Robert Garcia recognizes the threat that is Matthysse and his power. I kinda get a feeling that this isn't gonna be total domination by Matthysse like a lot of people seem to think but Matthysse still pulls off a KO or TKO

Same here Maidana is much better than Matthysse but he doesn't get all these fembots on his sack.

You can argue the weight of Devon Alexander doing better against Maidana since he was at welterweight longer while when he fought Lucas he was about to leave light-welterweight.

Garcia vs Maidana is a much more competitive match-up since we know Maidana can hit hard and take a big hit, be hurt but still come back stronger.

this "cut from the same cloth as walter" schtick is comical. an older zab was rocking your man back and forth while his signature uppercut couldn't phase lucas. something to think about.

Brah, all I can say is if Danny leaves himself open with those super wide looping right hands like he was throwing against Judah, he is getting stretched out in 2 or 3 rounds tops. Sure he may get to Matthysse but the opportunities were copious in the Judah fight, they better not be there against Matthysse.

Garcia isn't going to beat Matthyse on brute strength though, he is going to beat him because he is the much smarter man. Garcia always keeps it 100 about his performances and what his opponents does well. Before his second fight against a steroided Erik Morales watch how he break it down how he will win the fight.
his last 5 fights were all in the US and they are all ko's....one corner stoppage in there too.......what's the explanation for that?

I think the fact that Wlad is almost 6 foot-7 inches and 247 pounds of pure muscle which gives him a marked physical advantage over practically all of his opposition, has a lot to due with the lack of awe regarding his KO%. Matthysse is not bigger than his opponents.

Alts are so ******, seriously. You just make a new account when you know there's a good chance your prediction is going to turn out wrong and you'll look like an idiot. Why not just make the prediction on your everyday account? It's not as if any of us never get a single prediction wrong. Who honestly gives a ****?

As for the prediction in Danny's favor, that's a long shot. If anything, he's the fighter who has been over-hyped: his newfound fame is a result of KOing glass-chinned Khan and an old-as-hell Morales. He did well early against Judah and then started to fade and looked on the verge of being KO'd. The Khan win is solid (but let's not blow it out of proportion) and Judah a little less so, but really that's not enough to match what Lucas has done lately. Also, Lucas arguably beat a fresher Judah in 2010 and never looked vulnerable other than being slow to start.

I won't give Danny 0% chance to win but he's definitely up against it in this one. Matthysse is the real deal and I think we're witnessing a true force come into his prime. I wouldn't be surprised if this fight ends in a similar amount of time as the Peterson fight, but no matter what I'm 90% sure Danny gets KO'd somewhere along the line.
