Going to war with Marquez doesn't seem advisable. Marquez is way too good of a counter puncher to trade with, even at this age he still counters off with unbelievable effectiveness. Provodnikov caught him with big shots in the exchange, Marquez could be that much more effective, doesn't ever punch himself out, and there's no question about how well he can close the show.
