Rocky 7 aka "Creed"

Parts of it sound very interesting to me.
Some ideas.. Creed Jr (the grandson) should have gone through traumatic experiences as a child, maybe he was bullied by kids who would laugh at his granpa's death when they learned about it. So basically he has reasons to learn to fight on a number of intricate levels, it's not just that he has an "instinct" as it says in the article, there need to be deeper reasons to fuel the fire.
What if the world champion who Creed must ultimately face is coincidently trained by Drago! Imagine bringing both Rocky and Lundgren back for trainer roles.. We could have a mad fight build up at the press conference.Comment

The story for Rocky 6 wasn't great, it could have definitely been better. And Tarver wasn't really physically menacing as a heavyweight so that didn't help.Doubt this film even has the budget to be a good boxing film.
Rocky VI was pretty shît story wise, but the production values (HBO coverage, HBO commentators, real life boxing figures like Bert Sugar, Dan Rafael and Lou Dibella) did give it a modern day charm.
Can't see this film being able to reproduce that.
But if Stallone green-lighted Creed the budget should fall in to place eventually. They need to make sure the script is strong and that the actor who plays Creed is talented and memorable.Comment
