Ortiz dont need to thank Floyd for ****

He needs to thank his manager and himself. Props to ortiz for stepping out of his comfort zone and trying new things. while the haters are on 24/7 and Sechback videos, Ortiz will be on the Big screen with real star power.

Dude loses 2 in a row by embarrassing KO and he's on Dancing with the Stars an Expendables 3.
Ortiz might as well lose every fight like that if he's going to get rewarded

Ortiz owes Floyd some royalties. That fight gave him the stage to be discovered.

No, looks get you movie roles. And apparently Ortiz has the looks.

Best of luck to him. He'll probably be awful, if he even talks.

No. Being on that platform gets you movie roles.

Hollywood wasn't knocking down Ortiz's door when he beat Nate Campbell, and he had the same "looks" at the time.

salinass1234 this is a response to my post in the other forum, and I understand ur point however u can not deny that if he did not get the expose from the numerous tv interviews (on that comes to mind is the piers morgan interview), HBO 24/7, and the media hype for the mayweather fight he would have NEVER got this type of expose. Look at someone like Danny Jacobs the guy has a remarkable back story (just like ortiz), the man grow up in the ****** and to make thing worst he got cancer in the form of leukemia and had to relearn how 2 walk and he is fighting again. But where is his exposer (answer is he has none unfortunately) in my eyes he is more amazing than Robin Roberts (the anchor of "Good Morning America"). All I am say is that Victor Ortiz would have never got the platform if he never fought mayweather, the platform he got could have never been provided from ortiz's handers.

P.S. I am not a pro-ortiz or a pro-mayweather guy these are just the facts.

Victor Ortiz has a very good manager. I feel that he must have a good attitude and personality to be able to land the opportunities that he has gotten. He's making smart career moves. Good for Ortiz. As far as having to thank Mayweather, who ever believes that nonsense, must believe that Ryan Braun didn't engage in PED's.
