Chaves has the best training of his life, but he has not fought for quite a time.
Who has he been knocking out though?
Either way I want Thurman to win so... for this odd once

Not sure how you've come to this conclusion they don't fight anything alike. Thurman would destroy Berto unless Berto has made significant improvements under Virgil Hill which I hope he has.

It seems to be a pretty even fight butthe reality is that Thurman never fought anyone for real yet, its all been fodder to build up his hype Al Haymon style, the one somewhat real fight he failed to impress.
Chaves has an old school technique that may seem poor to the younger kids, he doesnt jump around like a monkey on heroin but there's boxing skills in what he does and has been improving in his latest fights.
I go with Chaves because of that, he hasnt been spoon fed tomato cans like al Haymon projects and he's the most proven of the two.
A monkey on heroin would look more like Pacman in the Marquez fight than jumping around..... Next Chaves hasn't beaten anybody and like many have said at least Thurman has zavek and Quitanna. He really is fighting his way to the top because these were supposed to be difficult fights

I honestly think the Quintana and Jan Zaveck fights will prove to be alot more challenging than Diego Chaves.
I really can't see Chaves causing Thurman any real big problems, Thurman is going to kill his liver that is my prediction I'm almost certain its going to happen but saying that anything can happen in boxing

Actually its Thurman that hasnt beaten anyone or done anything. Thurman looked mediocre at best against an old, shot up has been like Zaveck.
Chaves is the WBA Interim champion and not because daddy Haymon gave it to him. He should be fighting Broner more than Thurman.

After thurman Decapitates Chavez, All the Argentines will duck him. Maidana Will duck him, Matthyesse Will Duck Him. Because They Know Thurman Will Beat Them.

Matthysee KO over Peterson wouldnt compare if Thurman gets a KO over Chavez.

Thurmans competiion has been much better than Chaves! The biggest margin of differences is that Keith has fought 5 times since the beginning of 2012 and Chaves only has 2 fights and his last bout was not a good opponent!
I think Thurman has a chance to earn some good pay days, I don't know what happens when he's under stress but we don't know that about any of todays fighters that fans think are "great"! So we'll see about these two welters, ring the damn bell and fight hard and everyone go home safely! Ray
