The least this sport can give them is a fair shake which doesnt happen a lot.

I actually think this is a very real possibility. Just consider the magnitude (see money) involved in this fight, and then think about how many fights Floyd has left on his contract. Doesn't look like he is fighting Manny, so why would they have him fight his biggest fight and then just limp off into the sunset with smaller names and smaller money fights? I can EASILY see a robbery to set up a even bigger money rematch. It all seems fishy to me.

Robberies are one of the worst things about this sport especially ones on the biggest stage. Pacquiao vs. Bradley was an awful decision and it turned people off from the sport. Boxing loses credibility if things like that happen. Screwing the top 2 fighters in the sport in consecutive years is a black eye for the sport in the eyes of hardcore fans and casual fans.

I just finished re-re-rewatching the Garcia-Judah fight just to make sure I'm good on my bets for the Matthysse-Garcia fight and I gots to say....I think Danny is getting sparked out in under 4 rounds. People can call me a hater or whatever but that guy was so open for killer shots that I just can't see him making it the distance. After he destroys Garcia, people are going to start begging for a Matthysse-Mayweather fight.

Because he was much more impressive against Judah than Lucas was? Because his punches had more of an effect than Matthysse's did? Because he actually beat Judah unlike Lucas who lost to him?

I'd try my best not to have my fun with the unbelievably pissed nuthuggers around here, but I wouldn't be able to resist. I'd hate the robbery though.

I can see this happening too. Golden Boy has scammed Alvarez to this point, why not use a scam to get him one more level? Wouldn't surprise me if Mayweather was in on it, either. Despite clearly winning 9 rounds, he'd talk about how Alvarez was the toughest fight he ever had and that he has no complaints, he just wants a rematch.
