Former welterweight champion Andre Berto trained very hard with his new coach, Virgil Hunter, for Saturday's fight against Jesus Soto Karass at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Berto and his team broke training camp on Monday following seven weeks of preparation in the Bay Area. This is Berto's first fight of 2013, as he returns from last year's decision loss to Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero. Photos by Julie Goldsticker.

If Berto had better stamina and fought more cerebral he'd be a decent fighter, but unfortunately for him those attributes are hard to come by pressing 30 years old and even though he should be in his prime he has seemed to regress after age 24..

But that said, should the two win their next fights I would love to see a Berto-Cotto showdown at 152..

It's going to be interesting to see how much Berto has left. This could very well be the best fight of the night. I pick Berto by KO.
