Ward never said he'd drop down to 160 for Sergio or GGG, he said he'd only do that for Floyd. The other 2 guys OTOH are willing to drop down and challenge for Floyd's belts, big difference

As he shouldn't drop down for Sergio or GGG....he said he'd do a CW for Sergio though. Ward vs Sergio at 164 is a good fight for me. GGG has been a MW forever so he should be able to handle 168. If not 164 would be great for Ward vs GGG as well. Ward vs Floyd, that's just ridiculous.

So Glovkin stating he wants a Mayweather fight makes him a true warrior, but Martinez asking for the same thing while sitting out medically is all of a sudden a ducker and a coward?

        Fanboy logic is disgusting sometimes...smh

TBH I don't recall Ward offering 164 to either of those guys, doubt that's feasible. But I'd be all for those fights, doesn't mean it's not fair for them to drop down and challenge Floyd for his belts. It's way more money and exposure.

He Says All The Right Things, But Sergio Struggles With Everyone; He Can't Beat GGG!

Sergio is getting hurt, tearing his knee up, getting nearly knocked out by Chavez, Barker roughed him up... Sergio has always called out smaller fighters, in Pacquiao and Mayweather. Whenever he's fought top contenders his size, he looks bad, gets busted up in trying to survive. At 39 years old, the end of his career, why wouldn't he want the winner of Canelo/Mayweather? It would be the biggest payday he could get his hands on. He needs to leave the game now. He won't go up and figh Andre Ward. He can't beat Bernard Hopkins, and won't fight him no matter how old BHop is. He can't beat a drug free Chavez Jr, he can't beat Canelo, he can't beat Gennady. Sergio is in trouble. I'm not convinced Sergio could beat a 42 year old Shane Mosley!!!

                Good luck

I respect Sergio and he's had one hell of a run. But, I think that with the injuries he's dealing with and his age, he's looking at cashing out with this one. Not that he hasn't been asking for Floyd, or that he's done with. I still think there are some good fights ahead with Maravilla but the biggest money fight he can make is with Floyd. He'll just never get to fight Mayweather. I would rather see him fight Canelo truthfully. I'd like to see him go after Chavez again too. I think that last round Jr kind of realized if he had let his hands go that he had a chance to hurt him. Then again, he could dominate him again.

He knows GGG will kill him so he's trying to make some cash. Can't knock him.

Both would jump at the old man now. But how many are interested?
