But they said it with this begging tone lol. Plus I find the Argentinean accent so funny (no disrespect).

The Argentinian accent sounds funny to you because it is Spanish (we call it "Castilian", not Spanish) with Italian accent. 50% of the population is from Italian origin.

i've been on the bandwagon since Judah. I saw the fight, I thought dude is pretty cool I like his style, plus maidana is my favorite boxer and hes argentinean so that helped. Then I heard about him dropping Corley 8 times, I watched it on youtube and I became a fan. When he got robbed against Alexander I was so mad, i know in my heart lucas should have won

Give me a freaking break!!!! All of you people a bunch a follower jumping on the Matthysse band wagon for knocking out a Peterson without the PEDS. Peterson looked weak from the get go. Im not saying Matthysse is not good but come NOW!!! You guys making him out to be the next Mike Tyson n Shat!!!

Everybody knows that Maidana beat Matthysse twice when they fought in Argentina back in the day. Everybody and their mother KO'd Zab Judah (Miguel Cotto, Amir Khan, Kosta Tsyu, Carlos Baldomir) yet baby Mike Tyson over here lost to Judah and didn't even get the TKO. Alexander took his best punches, survived and got the win.

I have been impressed by both Garcia and Matthysse. Obviously, fans are going to root for the fighters they like and Matthysse has won over a lot of people in his recent fights, but regardless of who you want to win when the two finally meet, I don't think your analysis is entirely fair.

Garcia has good skills and power in both hands. Matthysse probably isn't as skilled a boxer, although I'd argue his skills have been underrated, but I don't think there's any doubt that he has the bigger punch and can effectively end a fight with a single punch.

Garcia's problem is that he is hittable, and even if you believe he has a good chin, Garcia would be well-advised not to trade with Matthysse. He needs to counter and make Matthysse pay early.

I think the excitement in this fight comes from wanting to see what happens when Danny lands his best shot against Lucas. Right now, the consensus seems to be that Matthysse has a good chin. How good? We'll get the answer on September 14, and that will probably determine the outcome of the fight.

If Garcia can make Matthysse think twice about throwing his power, he can win, perhaps by knockout even. But if Matthysse is unfazed by Garcia's best, I don't think Garcia has the boxing ability and wherewithal to avoid Matthysse's bombs for 12 rounds.

Whoever has the mental upper edge is going to take this fight. They both have decent chins, although Lucas has a proven one. He took Judah's best shot (the left uppercut) and he wasn't even fazed. Judah may not be alot of things, one thing he does have is some wicked power in that uppercut.

I think it's a pick em fight. If danny can counter effectively and not allow Lucas to bully him around the ring, it's going to be a hell of a fight
