    Chavez Jr separate from Sr

From the mexican version of new york times " el universal"

    here is the translation :

Paint your line. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is clear about the path you want to choose to return to the forefront of world boxing. One in which concerns only his father, Julio Chavez, as part of his team.

"My father will no longer be more in my corner.'ve Agreed to see each other only once a week, because it is very difficult to keep that relationship and family at the same time. Therefore will no longer be in the camps with me" detailing Chavez Jr. in conversation with El Universal.

The Son of the Legend wants to take this label. It is an eternal struggle to shine in the roped and leave once and for all, be referred by the deeds of his legendary father. Despite the separation, Julius explains that is just professionally.

"[JC Chavez] will never stop being my father and we have love, but it is something we feel we do well to progress in my career, we look forward to grow and grow. This will help us," notes Julio, who already half is preparing for his comeback fight boxing.

A return to the ring almost a year after losing to Argentina's Sergio 'Maravilla' Martinez, on September 15 in Las Vegas, in a painful fall that robbed him of his title via the World Boxing Council and their quality of undefeated.

The reappearance of Chavez Jr. (46-1-1, 32KO) will be against American boxer Brian Vera (23-6, 14KO) on 7 September at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

"We are well on the preparation.'s First week affected a little downtime, but in these last 10 days I've been feeling good.'ve Caught good condition that I feel will arrive in good condition for the fight of September 7," said.

A date agreed by weight super middleweight, which is also confirmed in the corner without Chavez Jr. the presence of his trainer Freddie Roach. The former champion is in talks with U.S. strategist, but also confesses that another person might have for that evening.

One night that Julio wants to mark as the beginning of a new era in his career. A stage that is no longer present his father to give technical tips, and in which he will start experiencing firsthand what it means to be a mentor to a human being.

"We have many factors to motivate because soon I will also be father. Born in December my first daughter, we know that will be a girl" reveals the new Julio Chavez. Already without Jr.
not sure if this good news or not ... he is also going to be a father maybe very needed extra motivation ..

He announced this last year didn't he? From the article it sounds like JR is blaming his father for his loss. He says he agrees to see him once a week wtf? SR was the only one trying to give him some good knowledge and he didn't wanna hear it.

Chavez Sr. is more serious about his son's career than Jr. Maybe dad put too much pressure on him but it seemed like his heart was in the right place. Hopefully Jr. takes his craft seriously and he can become a fighter his dad can be proud of.

His Dad needs to let his son live his life and manage his career himself. Okay so he's not the perfect boxer but he's own man and needs to do it his own way. If he loses he loses, he's wealthy, life goes on.

I agree, from the interviews I have seen and the way Sr talks to him it seems as though he just wants his son to be great.

Jr isn't motivated, being over weight, not training with a strict regimen, I don't get it. Maybe his father was just too over bearing but I think his heart was in the right place and I don't think Jr can manage himself. He doesn't have the discipline to do it.

I think it was a rumor that started in the fight vs Sergio Martinez in training camp ...but I is well know that he didnt get along very well with his father and it sad because I think he is the only person that actually really care about him .

Chavez Sr wants his son to be great but he aint in no position to tell anything to his son when he abused alcohol, drugs and party like a mofo. Jr is doing what his father did.
