Comments Thread For: Yordan Wants Gamboa Clash on Pacquiao vs. Rios Card

Returning home a national hero to his home town of Sukadana, West Kalimantan Indonesia, the Man known as “Indonesian Thunder” Daud Cino Yordan is looking ahead for the first World title defense of his newly won IBO World Lightweight title .

Yordan defeated Daniel “Tatu” Brizuela for the title in Perth, Australia at Metro City on the July 6th and became the first 2 division Champion (Featherweight & Lightweight) in the history of Indonesian Boxing & is looking for new challenges.

Yordan wants to take on the division’s best & the biggest name in the Lightweight division is non-other than Yuriorkis Gamboa. Yordan would respectfully like to extend a Challenge to Gamboa one more time.

It's time for 50 to bend over and start wearing out his knee pads for Shortboa.

I have seen that writers keep reporting this Yordan like he did something extraordinary by winning two titles of the IBO (quoting first indonesian ever to win 2 titles) but to me that organization doesn't really matter. No ofense but that is exactly the same situation with the indonesian Chris John who is practically unknown outside his country. John is 33 yr old and has 51 fights (48 wins and 3 drawn and 22 KOs) all of them in feather weight division but basically all of his fights have been in Asia and specially Indonesia where the judges seem to favor him many times. JMM fought him and looking at the video it looks that it was a local decision in favor of John. He has also had 2 fights that where stopped around the 3er round by head clashes and the locals still accounted as succesful defenses while in many places would be no-contests. "Boxrec" has Mares, Mickey Garcia y even Salido rated above John because he is basically a boxer who doesn't risk much.

Him and then Mares me likey in a perfect world Gamboa would do both....but i thought this guy had just gotten a loss literally a lil while ago? If he has to choose i hope he goes with Mares at 130 without a doubt.

Yordan or whoever I just want someone to KO this overrated fool so we can all rid ourselves of the discussions of what Gamboa "could have/Would have" done...

I saw Yordan get beat by Caballero a couple of years ago in the Berto/Quintana card. No way Yordan can beat Gamboa, Gamboa by KO.
