Matthysse may win, but I'm telling you, not a cats in hell chance he takes Garcia out without having a war. This isn't Peterson, Garcia is a young, game fighter, looking to make his mark in the division.
Its going to be a great night. Matthysse stock is going to drop and Garcia's will go up, win or lose for Garcia.
Its a toss up for me,Danny Garcia has underated boxing skill, just look at his fight with Kendall Holt.I think that Garcia is gonna try to utilized his height and reach advantage and use a lot of movement. But i wont be surprised if Mathysse ko`s him early.

I don't underestimate García, I've seen his past 5 or 6 fights and I'm still not impressed. My opinion is that García is a decent fighter, above average of course, but with many flaws which could be easily exploited.
So what are García's strengths?
He has heavy hands and packs serious power with his wide hooks. He also has good timing and is able to surprise his opponents with his power punches. I don't think he has an amazing chin but he's still resistant and can take a punch. Hasn't faced the best opposition but he's been able to finish the job and he gets credit for that.
What are his weaknesses?
He's very flat footed, his footwork's been absolutely terrible in his past fights. He's not too fast either but has decent speed so maybe it's not such a problematic weakness considering that he has good timing. The most important flaw I see in him is that he's wide open for straight counters. He throws some really wide hooks and since he's flat footed he can't move out of range before the opponent throws his right/left counter so he receives more shots than he should.
Another thing that makes me not rate García so highly is his quality of opposition. Sure, he's undefeated, but he beat an old Zab Judah in a competitive fight, a lot more than it should've been in my opinion. He beat an extremely past his prime Morales twice and he actually had a lot of problems during his fist fight. He also knocked out Khan, which IMO is still his best victory so far, even though Khan has an absolutely pathetic chin.
I think Lucas takes him because he's a better boxer than some guys here think. Sure, Lucas is not a textbook fighter but he has some strengths that some people tend to overlook. He's strong, we all know that, but he has much better footwork than most people believe. He has trouble at first to get in range to land his shots, but once he does that he's very good at positioning himself and at cutting the ring. Also his good at landing different kinds of shots. He surprises his opponents by varying his punches, he throws both hooks and straights and is very unpredictable because of his unorthodox style. We're not talking about a guy like Brandon Rios or Chino Maidana who just go forward throwing punches all over the place, Lucas has better boxing fundamentals and even though it may not seem that way I think he has a good ring IQ.

I really don't see how anyone who watches and studies boxing can call this fight a toss up. Those people judging this fight on Matthysse's Judah/Alexander fights should also have their boxing knowledge questioned.
Garcia is tailor made for Matthysse.
