    Jermain Taylor

    Anyone have the latest on him?

    I know he took a couple of years out then had his three comeback fights.

    And he had his problem with the **** allegation/non payment of a ********** and wasn't there some event with his own mother?

    But he's dropped off the radar in the last year.

      He was considered for Peter Quillin before they went with Fernando Guerrero, other than that haven't heard anything...

      Kinda glad I haven't, Jermain isn't at contender status now...and he may not ever be anymore...hope he's alright financially and health-wise...

              what!? never even heard anything about this
              anyway, his comeback went nowhere, as expected
              Taylor's a nice guy and provided some thrills, but he was ended in 09
              Froch smashed him then AA smashed him, that's too much damage
              and that's after Pavlik fucked him up
              he never shoulda came back in the first place, he's finished

                  he shouldn't come back. DiBella did the right thing cutting him loose for his own health.

                      The Mother thing was an argument in the street in which he threw her keys away. Not violent but police were called.

                      He also got arrested during Memorial Day weekend last year in South Beach - at around the same time that nutter was chewing that tramps face off.

                      He always came across as a nice laid back dude so this stuck in my memory.
