Morales fought the better opposition, so I would have to go with him.Originally posted by VERSION1 (V1)If Eric Morales or RJJ never fights again who has the better career they both have the same record in there last 4 fights 1-3 -
agreed morales fought his nemesis and equal barrera 3 times and pacquiao possibly the hardest hitting puncher that weight class has ever seen twice maybe he'll fight him a 3rd and that says it allOriginally posted by Ricomania77Morales fought the better opposition, so I would have to go with him.
compared to roy dancing away from hopkins and toney the only good opposition he foughtComment

Id say that RJJ was the better fighter but Morales has a better carreer.Comment

Jones has more accomplishments in terms of titles and defenses etc. and he seemed more 'invincible' to the public eye than Morales, but Morales had the tougher division(s) at the time to fight in and definitely had the more memorable fights. It's a tough question and it depends on who is recounting the 'legacy' I guess. They are both great fighters in my opinion.Comment

seriously, watch roys fights before you comment. roy was untouchable in his prime, and imo, is the far better fighter than morales. that being said, morales has a great resume, filled with great wins and lossesOriginally posted by OASIS_LADagreed morales fought his nemesis and equal barrera 3 times and pacquiao possibly the hardest hitting puncher that weight class has ever seen twice maybe he'll fight him a 3rd and that says it all
