There you go. It seems like way too many people are thinking too big for Rigo. He'll never be a big star, for a multitude of reasons. So what? How many big stars are there in boxing? I'm content with Guillermo winning and putting on some good shows in the process.

the way i see it is even if rigo leaves TR and goes to GBP i think schaefer will do him same way they are doing Lara over there saying he is not exciting enough which is disgusting because i rather watch rigo and lara anyday over the so called exciting fighters like rios or whoever

yeah,i guess a lot of people "expect" you to be a star, like you say how many stars are there? like I said even some popular fighters aren't really that good,he could be a good fighter, even great but if he's not a star,a popular fighter oh well,i guess there are certain fighters who just don't attract fans, look at berto before he lost, not even in florida he would bring in fans, with him he had to depend on the opponent

As about HBO: What's what Andre Ward has and Rigondeaux hasn't?

get Rigo a showcase opponent for his next fight on HBO
if he bores everyone to tears again, drop his ass
if he manages to put on a good show, keep him for more fights
never found Rigo exciting in any fight so far
refused to pay attention to him after the Pac-Margarito undercard
but now he has a world title and a legit win over a top fighter
he has to know he needs to have an entertaining fight now
if he takes all this into the ring and stinks it out again, fuck him
if he's up to the task, no reason to deny him the big stage

I think Ward would take a fight against Rigo, on HBO...

                American and speaks English.

This has nothing to do with Rigos style. It has to do with stuff they don't want to say to the media.

Give the guy one more chance and see how it goes. If he gets another massive non stop booing, there's nobody else to blame but him. Or HBO needs to accept the fact that not all styles have massive appeal. Some are just not worth buying. You can't even count on so called hardcores because they stream everything for free. Same fans who cry foul when few want to watch and pay.

It's like news casts on most networks. They're there for public service and make up for the loss through their regular programming. Or like lawyers taking pro bono cases to prop up their image.

This can't be a serious reason.
Canelo can't say "good morning" in English and he's Mexican.

The same goes for Andre Ward.
