Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer told BoxingScene.com that his company is working on several big shows in September. Schaefer is targeting the first week of September for a card that is going to feature a potential fight between heavyweights Seth Mitchell (26-1-1, 19KOs) and Chris Arreola (35-3, 30KOs). Also being targeted for the first week of September is the return of former welterweight champion Victor Ortiz (29-4, 22KOs), with his potential opponent being rumored as veteran Alfonso Gomez. Former champion Rafael Marquez (41-8, 37KOs), and comebacking welterweight Josesito Lopez (30-6, 18KOs), will also be featured on the early September card.
