smh..If Broner had good movement I would be inclined to agree. Maidana struggles with guys like that, or has in the past. The fact that AB stands stock still most of the time plays immensely in Maidana's favor though. If its obvious to us, you can be damn sure Garcia will be training Maidana to go to the body and break Broner down opening the head for the home run shot.

I can see them training an opening stiff jab, and feinting the right to the head.. followed by a body snatcher left hook..

Also, watch for Maidana's straight right hand to the body, to open up a similar overhand he ended Lopez with.

      Excellent fight.

I don't think broner can beat maidana the way alexander did. He doesn't move like alexander. However, he punches way harder than alexander.

true man.. its a bit tough to predict. Broner has great hand speed and reflexes and maidana is open often thats why i say its a bad style... but your right broner has no footwork and he liked to walk his opponents down, but i doubt he can walk maidana down. Only think im worried about is if he counters maidana hard, maidana has been shown to get hurt, so i dunno, but broners there to be hit and maidanas a beast with power and heart so its really tough to predict

Maidana not much of a test for Broner his style won't give him problems

Ill go with tried and true over hype. As far as I'm concerned both fighters will get hit (as I outlined earlier), and Chino will be tougher and hit harder.

Same as what I said about the Lopez matchup, really.

Broner doesn't have one win, in my eyes that matches Maidana breaking a prime Ortiz, or his Lopez win. Its all smaller and weaker guys than him he's fought.

This tells me he's trying to hide a deficiency. He might not even be able to take a shot on the chin from a heavy handed fighter for all we know, let alone go 12 rounds with one. We already know about Chino's chin and heart.

              Broner? Protected.

Broner's flaw was that he couldn't hit a moving target. He learned a lot in the Paulie fight, and still kept up the pressure and got a clear win even though it was a disgusting split decision by two terrible judges.

With that said, Maidana imo doesn't have a prayer if he can't move away from Broner. Once Broner uses his power jab and starts to dig in with body shots, Maidana's goose is cooked.

Maidana may well win this one. Broner isn't actually very good in my opinion, and I smell an odour of Maidana inside the distance.....
