Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Adviser Laughs Off Mayweather's Statements

Michael Koncz, the adviser to eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao, was amused with the stipulations that were recently stated by Floyd Mayweather Jr. In an interview posted Friday by Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, Mayweather said he willing to face Pacquiao - but only under the condition that Pacquiao signed a promotional agreement with Mayweather Promotions.

"I’m just letting you know that he’s not getting a fight with me. The only way he’s getting a fight with me is if he signs with Mayweather Promotions. He’s got to give me fights with Mayweather Promotions. If he don’t give me no fights under Mayweather Promotions, then he’s not getting the fight," Mayweather told Iole.

The only time Manny ever mentions Floyds name is when he already has a fight on the books.

It's hilarious that a guy coming off of 2 defeats and a year off thinks he has the chance of getting a fight with Mayweather and that his fans are saying Mayweather is ducking.

You're right, he should really go the proper route and fight Andre Berto like those other more worthy fighters Robert Guerrero and Victor Ortiz.
