Comments Thread For: Chisora's Trainer Admits Another Loss Could Spell The End

Judgement Day looms for Dereck Chisora at Wembley Arena on Saturday.

The enigmatic Finchley heavyweight has lost his last four title fights –albeit in rarefied company – and knows he simply can’t afford another blip if he’s to cement his standing among the world’s elite.

But the 29 year old former British and Commonwealth king will need to be at his rumbling, raging best if he’s to progress past leading US contender Malik Scott, who remains unbeaten in a 36 fight pro career that spans 13 years.

I like chisora & have enjoyed a few of his fights. He looks to be in good shape & he will be ready. Scott is pretty slick & can box circles around chisora. Unfortunately he doesn't punch like haye so chisora may just walk through his punches & will try to overwhelm him in close or on the ropes. If chisora isn't the bully he will get shut out on the scorecards( unless terry o'connor is a judge). Other then glazkov there isn't many quality names on scott's resume so that record is padded so he is still somewhat unknown. Chisora is his first legit test. Glazkov is still a prospect but i had scott beating him...

Chisora should win. Tough match, but conventional wisdom is way off on this one.

If he does win, I was thinking the Thompson match would make a lot of sense and be a great bout.

Agree. Good comments, didn't comment on your reply to my Adamek Chambers comment, but that was intelligent too.
