Just to put this in perspective, this is the same guy who said Floyd-Mosley was gonna do 4 million PPV buys and still hasn't released the Guerrerro numbers cuz they were pathetically low

so floyd makes 875k vs ghost and then more than 2mil vs canelo, and canelo has nothing to do with it?? floyd couldnt pass 2mill vs cotto on hbo but hopes to break the record vs canelo... canelo is untested , has no ppvs and brings nothing to the table??

Nah. oscar-mayweather, how many pc's back then? and how reliable was internet way back then compared to now? Cable tv that one from Indonesia broadcasts big fights real time, and thats for free with the cable tv subscription.

Mayweather PPVs with Canelo in the undercard couldn't break 2 million PPVs buys, but now with them fighting each other it's going to challenge the all time record?

It's definitely going to make some noise.

Now the Golden Boy Promotions chief executive officer feels strongly about the possibility of the Sept. 14 show approaching the boxing pay-per-view record established by Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya in May 2007. Mayweather-De La Hoya produced 2.525 million buys and made roughly $140 million in pay-per-view revenue.

I thought The Floyd vs Ghost will Break it? That's what Schaefer said the last time! PPV buyers were tired of Floyd! He's all talk & Brag but no delivery! Floyd will promise a KO But we wont even get a KD! He'll Promise an exciting fight, but after the fight, PPV buyers want their money back.

We want was Pac vs Floyd, but what we get was Floyd vs Pac's sparring partners Or Pac's leftover!

I gave Credit to Showtime for forcing this fight after they lost money the last time! Floyd will win in a boring/ running fight! why Pay for it? Or if in case Canelo wins, There's always a replay or Livestream!

What about Lara and Trout? Will they be on the card too?

I really hope it does set the all time ppv record and Golden Boy and hopefully Top Rank takes note and they start stacking their ppv undercards. I am more excited for Matthysse-Garcia than Mayweather-Canelo tbh.

It will do very well. I was not going to get it as i was not sold on the main event. Then I heard that Garcia and matthysse are fighting on it and that really peaked my interest, but i still was not completely sold. Then I saw a tweet from the Watson Twins that they are going to be on the card and that was all I needed. I'm buying it now.
