He was cornered. No doubt about it.

The choice was simple really:

1. Fight Matthysse, get knocked out and work your way up again

2. Duck Matthysse, get a p*ssy stamp on the forhead for the rest of your life and never get taken seriously ever again

Trust me, if he gets KOed he is not coming back to boxing. Almost guaranteed.

I'm actually ecstatic but I'm seriously interested in his strategy. He absolutely can not trade with Lucas at all. He will be ko'd if he does. He'll have to box better than he evr has. I just don't think he can avoid a gun fight with Lucas.

I think people are really under estimating Danny here not saying he's going to win but this fight is definitely 50/50.

G T F O H...this fight took longer to negotiated than Floyd vs Canelo but he demanded it? So either Garcia is a liar or Schaefer is because Richard pretty much said he ran into issues making the fight happen...which indicates GBP and Showtime finally demanded Garcia earn his money vs someone in their prime. Good luck to both men and I look forward to the fight but Danny we don't believe you.

Yeah! I am a big fan of this 2 exciting fighters but I think Mathysse will destroy Danny plus I wanna see Sr's face when Danny gets KTFO. If Danny beats Mathysse then he is the next one! And probably next one to fight Floyd!! Bring it on!!
