Rapidly rising light middleweight prospect Taras Shelestyuk (4-0, 3 KOs) is back to the ring in less than two weeks on July 26. Shelestyuk, managed by Ruslan Provodnikov’s guider Vadim Kornilov, is said to be colliding with journeyman Adam Ealoms (3-3-3, 1 KO) in Lincoln, California, as a part of Juan Carlos Burgos vs. Yakubu Amidu ESPN-televised showdown. The bout is scheduled for six rounds but can be cut down to four if it makes for the cable channel’s broadcast.
“I don’t know anything about my future opponent except of the fact that he is a lefty”, said Shelestyuk. “We shall soon start studying his tapes to reveal his strengths and weaknesses. I’m sparring with Tyrell Hendrix now and I’m pumped up for a serious six-round clash”.
