        Contrarely to what some people feel, I alwasy appreciated Merchant. He was getting old, of course and it might have been indeed time for him to retire, but I find that his comments were always interresting, opening perspective, and he always had a particular take on things no one else had.

              Merchant is the realest guy in boxing. It's a shame he's retired, but good thing he still does this stuff.

                    I would tend to agree.

                    I actually think he's really only semi-retired, he covered Zou Shiming's debut card from Macau and I'm pretty sure I heard him on another international broadcast too. I would prefer him over Kellerman any time.
