  • Comments Thread For: Periban vs. Jack Could Be in Play For Mayweather-Canelo

Super middleweight contender Marco Antonio Periban (20-1, 13KOs) may get a quick return on the Floyd Mayweather-Saul Alvarez undercard on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Periban was told by his handlers that he would possibly fight on the card against undefeated Badou Jack (14-0, 10KOs), who is promoted by Mayweather and fights on Friday night against Farrah Ennis (21-1, 12KOs) at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. If that fight will indeed happen in the fall, Jack will have to win and walk away without an injury on Friday. Last month Periban lost a twelve round majority decision to Sakio Bika.

Probably won't be a televised fight and if it is I won't be in the arena until it's almost over

Dont know anything about jack until friday but periban is a balls to the wall fighter, the way things look now with garcia vs mathysse, lara vs trout, and this fight if it gets the opener will no doubt be the biggest ppv card in history....should pass de la hoya vs mayweather by a few thousands or so for sure...garcia vs matyhsse and lara vs trout are being worked out for this card and nothing us official so dont quote me on it...
