Same old tired story, you need to throw 100 punches per round, you need maul, swarm, pressure Floyd!

Floyd's real weakness is the first two rounds while he measures his opponent, if you can even call it that. After that, you might well turn off the tv, and start thinking about how the next guy is going to beat him.

I think the key to beat Floyd is , ODLH , Guerrero , Shane and even Hatton first rounds , they all had some success with just pure raw pressure and will but not sure what happened after the 4 to 6 round they all lost stamina and motivation to continue at that rate and you know the rest..

He does have the speed. Because of him being a bulky mexican, people put him in the class of a slow brawler. But Alvarez is very very fast. Im not saying that he will win, but he is faster than Shane. To me, he throws those mortal combat punches like Pac. But Pac threw so many punches, that it made his speed stick out more. Canelo only throws a few shots, so it blinds people from seeing how fast he's really coming to the game.

that strategy is old school and goes back to legends of the game like Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Ray Robinson. Canelo has ALL the tools to do exactly that.... who's the idiot who says he does not. Guerrero went in and pounded the body in the first couple rounds, and Floyd got on his bike and took off the rest of the fight, pot shotting from the outside. Duran is right... MAUL Floyd, cut the ring off, pound body shots off his ribs, his kidneys, his hips, his arms, elbows, his liver, and then the tires go flat on the bike, it gets DARK, and Floyd is then in a neighborhood he isn't going to like. That's when he gets caught by a hook on the jaw that corkscrews him into the canvas... DURAN knows... that's how he beat Leonard in the first fight. Canelo needs to keep Duran around camp the entire time.... There's a reason the likes of Duran and Leonard are recognized as LEGENDS, and guys like Floyd Junior aren't.
