Wrong, Giovanni Segura has 3 defeats in his record now and all of the sudden at his 31 he is really looking old. The defeat against Viloria caused a massive damage in his face and kept him without fighting for more than a year (14 months the longest layoff of his career). In his last fight he also lost badly with Edgar Sosa, who hadn't looked impressive before the Segura's fight, which confirms that the old champ Segura is gone. And even defeating Gonzales probably wouldn't tell much about Segura since anyone can argue that the fighter from the island has only 13 professional fights and is hardly a good parameter to state that Segura still would have some gas in the tank.

Segura is an absolute treat to watch. He is like a slightly younger Arce. He has very poor defense, but if he hits you to the body, watch out!
