Would Canelo Gas Out Vs Erislandy Lara?

You realized that GBP stacked all the cards against Lara, the smallest ring they could find, rehydration clause only for him and to top it off the real Angulo show up, so lets be honest and talk the truth without omitting real facts, the haters always bring the Molina fight but the forget to mention that Lara was sick and the fight didn't got cancel because the kid has some balls, they forget to mention that Molina got tagged and hurt a few times and was lucky that EL couldn't follow up, Lara didn't do his best but he didn't lose the fight, a draw was fair...Comment

Lara fights in spurts too, and he's not good at keeping his opponents at bay, he's very easy to hit with bodyshots.Comment

I have been reading in this thread that Canelo did not earn the fight with Floyd and the fight was just handed to him. I disagree. Mayweather fought Cotto not that long ago and said Cotto was the best he ever fought and gave him his hardest fight. In his next fight after Floyd Cotto loses a ud. to Trout by the same scorecards of 117 to 111 that he lost to Floyd by. Then Canelo beats Trout who just finished beating the best guy Mayweather ever fought. That is how Canelo earned the shot. Canelo is rated the #1 154 pounder in the world by ESPN, Boxrec, Boxing Scene, Ring Magazine and just about everybody else. He is the holder of both the WBC and the WBA world titles and he is in line to fight Floyd for Floyd's WBA superchamp title. On top of that he brings Floyd more money than any other fighter in the world could bring him. So I have to wonder who else has earned the fight with Floyd ahead of Canelo? Who else should Floyd be fighting? If Floyd is going to fight at 154 nobody but Canelo makes any sense as his next opponent in my opinion.Floyd is fighting the guy he should be fighting and he is the most dangerous guy Floyd has fought in many years.Comment

I do, which is messed up especially with the whole weight and everything. That doesn't excuse the fact that he didn't go to the body against Angulo, didn't show much angles, didn't duck under Angulo's punches whilst turning him, instead he continued to get cornered against a slow footed Angulo which is embarrassing to say the least. Instead of his fans rightfully critiquing that performance I'm suppose to believe Angulo's resurrected or better yet...would beat Canelo which is laughable. Lara has the tools but has never been known to put it all together, I think people heavily overrate him at times.Comment

because in 40+ fights he has fought:
Hatton at a catchweight he , Canelo missed
Rhodes
Gomez JWW
Lopez JWW
Archie Solis the flyweight
Old and fat Baldomir, a journeyman that got lucky once
and the mighty feather fisted Trout, and he barely got the nod we all know why...
And Lara has fought how many midgets, uhmm, none
Brewster
williams
molina
angulo
vanes
he even went to MW and ko Hearns a bigger man, actually he hasn't fought anyone with a losing record...Comment
