Trout said Canelo deserved the win over him because Canelo was the better fighter that night. Over half the ringside boxing writers thought Canelo beat Trout. As for the 87 out of 149 fans that thought Trout won I just don't agree with them.I think Canelo could do what Angulo failed to do because he is a smarter, better fighter than Angulo and a faster more accurate puncher. If Lara beats Trout I might change my mind about how Canelo-Lara would go but I think Trout will beat Lara. I think Canelo is a much better fighter than you think he is. Canelo's fight with Floyd should show which of us is right about how good a fighter Canelo really is.

Alvarez is a better fighter than Angulo, that's for certain; but not many current fighters are capable of delivering the kind of non-stop pressure "Perro" brought to the Lara fight. There's a reason why the TS started a poll questioning Saul's stamina. I think Alvarez-Lara would be a tough fight for both men. If you think "Canelo" would dig into Landy the way Alfredo did, think again.

I'll be honest it depends which Lara shows up he gets complacent when the level of opposition is low but i think for a fighter like Canelo he would bring it just like he has every time he fought people he thought would be career defining, but if Canelo gasses R.I.P if not then a hell of a fight, well be able to see whats the status of that gassing problem against Floyd.

On the Flip side if gassy Canelo would have been the one fighting Perro mr super Perro that showed up would have had him for lunch without a doubt.
