I don't want to generalize, I'll just say that I wonder how many of the angry statements I've read come from people who didn't follow the case and still think Zimmerman just shot some kid for no reason.

And Mr. Gausha, if you don't like your team, then get the hell out of the stadium.

I don't want to generalize but the two biggest racists on this site are on your side and yes everybody followed the case you are not special. If it was your kid would you be so understanding? And he did follow him for no reason and thats why TM is dead.

It is wrong that he didn't get punished somehow, but that's the risk when the prosecution sets the bar too high with what they charge a person with.

He should have gotten something, he did instigate the confrontation, even though Trayvon might have started the physical fight.

Thats why hes guilty. Trayvon didnt ask to be followed and harassed by a guy with a gun did he?

One, Zimmerman was minding his business, he was part of a neighborhood watch that had been having problems in the area to begin with. Two Zimmerman didn't know his race since he had his hoody up so he wasn't singling out Martin. Three, Martin didn't even live in the area, he was a strange face so he had a reason to be questioned since it is a GATED COMMUNITY.

They can't grasp the simple concept of self-defense.

They refuse to believe that the fully grown adult back tracked and brutally attacked Zimmerman for no apparent reason. Zimmerman was within his legal right to defend himself as his head was getting slammed into the pavement at the hands of a violent thug.

Verdict = NOT GUILTY, it's over, you lose, get over it.

You refuse to believe that trayvon was the one using self defense Zimmerman had no right to get in his face. So what do you mean by You lose? Blacks? You ****ing scum bag piece of trash.

Even the juror who was interviewed by CNN yesterday said that Zimmerman went above and beyond what he should have done. And that he was guilty of not using good judgement.

Basically he made decisions that led to a kid's death.

Maybe the intent to kill wasn't there but that was the end result of his actions. So it should be manslaughter if nothing else. In my opinion.

to the posters defending the killing of a minor, i wonder how you would feel about it if it would have been your younger brother. use your energy for something positive instead of hate, especially as a boxing fan, a sport that owes so many of its great moments to black athletes...

I see we have a lot of white **********s on this forum. You should have seen the **********s on Fox they had a show and a roundtable discussion and this dude kept asking what if the kid was white and the killer was black how would you feel then??? Not one fooken person answered the question because they know they would be in an uproar!.
This crap came down to race. Like or not thats all it was about, 5 white women and one multi racial woman are suppose to be able to understand where a yojng black kid is coming from? yeah right. I honestly dont think they could have charged him with murder 1 but at the very least it was manslaughter. So now we can follow suspect individuals and have a gun in our belts then when we are getting our asses kicked we can pull out the gun and shoot them and claim self defense??? WOW
Recently (last week) i believe a black woman got sentenced to 20 years for firing warning shots to an individual who was threatening her warning shots guys this dude feared for his life from alil boy??

For those that followed the case, I have a few questions:

Did Zimmerman see Martin commit a crime?
Did Zimmerman see Martin leaving the scene of a crime?
Did Zimmerman see Martin heading to the scene of a crime?
Did Zimmerman have any former dealings with Martin?
Did Zimmerman have any former intelligence on Martin?

If the answer to these questions is "no"? Then maybe someone can answer on what basis Zimmerman suspected Martin of anything. While Zimmerman couldn't be convicted of what he was charged, it cannot be disputed that he instigated the sequence of events based on his own prejudiced ideas of what "su****ious" looks like. If it were a middle aged white male (the most like profile of a *****phile... in the UK anyway), would Zimmerman have thought him su****ious in that way? There was no evidence to refute Zimmerman's claims because the only source of evidence is dead.

As new England stated, a 17 year old boy is dead. And that is something that shouldn't even be rationalised, let alone celebrated.

There is no proof of this whatsoever, the medical examiner not only said the injuries weren't serious, but that the injuries were very insignificant, also alluding to the fact that it looked more like he was struck once.

Grappling on the concrete could attribute to those bruises to the back of the head. All this is built on assumptions man, it really is, I don't know how you can say the bold.

No; there was eyewitness testimony buttressing Zimmerman's claim that he was on his back getting his head smashed in the concrete while he yelled for help. The one woman who went back on her initial story (which also said Zimmerman was on his back) only did so after the media started making it this big racial deal. . . Her initial story to the cops right after the incident was that Zimmerman was on his back getting his head pounded in the pavement.

Listening to the recording, that blood-curdling scream for help, definitely sounded like Zimmerman. Zimmerman has that slightly feminine voice.
