I wouldn't be surprised if Arum is willing to auction Rigo off to Goldenboy to make a Mares fight. Kinda like what GB offered for Donaire to make a Mares fight - pay him a lump sum, and let them setup, and promote the fight.

This all revolves around whether or not GB would be willing to pay for Rigo to make the fight.

I have no doubt my boy Mares would love to make the fight, and I think he has the style, and skill-set to beat Rigo.

Frampton isn't ready for Rigo, and he admits this. I can accept that since he straight up admits he's not ready, and doesn't make excuses. I can see the fight being made down the road, if they are both still in the same weight class.

I can see the other fights being made as well. . . Definitely his best route to go unless somethign changes HBO's mind, and they want to make him the A-side.

Rigo could fight Shimoda as a stay-busy, and then fight the winner of Quigg/Salinas. Afterwards, he could fight Terrazas if he beats Santa Cruz.
