Ranked with accomplishment first, talent second.

I give a lot of credit to Garcia for beating Khan who imo might be the best win anyone on this list has. Lucas Matthysse is right behind him with his recent performances and early Peterson KO. Adrien Broner's win over DeMarco stacks up well but he needs a good welterweight win still. Mikey Garcia has a lot of talent and the JuanMa win was a good one for him even if he came in overweight. Miguel Vazquez is IMO the best fighter left at lightweight to beat. I give Crawford the edge over Russell Jr. for his win over Prescott. Of the last three I think Gamboa is more talented but he hasn't been very active in the past few years so it's hard to rank him highly. I have Abril over Burns for his showing against Rios.

I like your breakdown and logic, but am perplexed as why you have Russell jr ahead of abril, burns and gamboa,,, They have all fought and won world titles, and fought much tougher competition,, Russell Jr has honestly never been past the espn-shobox level of fighters,,,

That's fair enough. I do agree that the last three people I've ranked are all more accomplished than Russell Jr. I put him where he was on his talent, but you're right, talent doesn't mean anything if you're not accomplishing anything with it.

Have to agree Gary Russell Jr didn't he just opt out of a fight with Ponce De Leon. He has talent but he definitely don't have heart and since I read that interview I hope he gets his chin rocked. He shouldn't be given a rank..
