The surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff on the right shoulder of WBC minimumweight Silver champion Denver Cuello has been successful.
The surgery was performed by top Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Beng Javier and his team at the Makati Medical Center this afternoon.
Cuello’s manager Aljoe Jaro told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard “the operation was successful. Denver’s shoulder is back to normal.”
The hard-hitting southpaw lost a majority decision in his quest to wrest the title from Chinese champion Xiong Zhao Zhong at the World Trade Center in Dubai last June 28 when he was forced to fight with one hand after a couple of rounds. [Click Here To Read More]
