Kind of has a tmz/gossip voice to him the way he was asking them questions ..not really a "pro" type of interview but by the questions and comments he was making ,no surprise rite.

Floyd is doing the exact same thing to Canelo that Pacquiao did to Cotto any way you want to spin it. Canelo putting on lots of weight after the weigh in is within the rules and Cotto did the same thing when he was fighting at welterweight. The only way to put a stop to that is to return to the better system of afternoon of the fight weigh ins. I have no problem with two fighters agreeing to a catchweight fight as long as no world title is on the line. Floyd said he only fights guys at their best, most comfortable weight but 152 is not Canelo's best, most comfortable weight. Floyd is a great fighter but he is a liar and a hypocrite.

What did he pull with chad? Chad offered to come down when he called ward out. Ward was silent until chad called him out and chad said they could do it at 68. I understand you want reason to hate, but it is what it is.

I disagree with that to a certain extent. 1st off its at a higher weight and I think 2 pounds is less & less of a factor the higher the weight class. 2nd, Cotto had already been killed by Margarito and alot of people felt he just lost to Clottey in the previous fight so he was more shop worn and not as confident as Canelo is who is coming off the biggest win of his career.

Cotto was also in his 2nd weight class while Canelo is in his 1st which is usually always a fighters best weight in terms of performance. Cotto while bigger than Pac is not nearly the size of Canelo in a p4p sense. Pac's weight would be much much much closer to Cotto's on fight night than Floyd will be to Canelo. Floyd might literally be 20-25 pounds smaller in the ring.

Pac was also in his prime while Floyd is past his. Pac was going to stay at WW for pretty much the rest of his career while Floyd may not ever fight at 154 again. With all that being said, I didnt have a problem with the Pac-Cotto fight at all. I think people complaiin to much about that kinda stuff. Every situation is not the same. There are some bogus cw fights and there are some truly legit one's.

Pac had moved up alot of weight classes in a short period. I will never cry about him making Cotto come down a couple of pounds when Pac had already fought in a million different weights. Thats the same way I feel about Floyd and anyone at 154-160. Most of these guys never move up at all or only move up once but complain if these small guys dont fight them at there weight when they have moved up way more already.

Some might argue that its fine but dont take the belt. My answer to that is "who cares"? I mean seriously, do any of you think Cotto was really a better fighter than Pac at that point? If he kept the belt then fine but it wouldnt have meant nothing. We would all still see it as Pac being the better fighter and the real champ

I am happy the Canelo-Mayweather fight is on and I think it's the most risky fight Floyd has had in a long time. I think Canelo will be fine at 152 just as I thought Cotto was fine at 145. I don't think 2 pounds will change the outcome of this fight at all just as I never believed 2 pounds would have changed the outcome of the Cotto-Pacquiao fight at all. Nobody made Canelo agree to 152 just as nobody made Cotto agree to 145. They wanted those fights so they agreed to those weights. I think world titles still mean something even today or why else would fighters try so hard to win them? Matthysse could fight other guys but he only wants Garcia because he is the champ. Floyd trashed Pacquiao so hard over the Cotto catchweight and patted himself on the back so much for fighting Cotto at 154 and that's why I call him a hypocrite. I think the amount Canelo will outweigh Floyd by in the ring will be more like 10 pounds than 25 pounds. If Floyd refuses to be weighed on fight night again then we will never know how much of a weight advantage Canelo actually had.
