I think this is where the psychological aspect comes into play. If Canelo is truly confident in his ability to collect the win, he will weigh in at 154lb as the money will keep rolling in should he win. If there's doubt in his mind, he'd have more of an incentive to make weight as receiving a heavy fine when future big pay days are not on the cards would not be good.

I personally hope Canelo weighs in at 154lb, so that if Mayweather wins it won't be marred.
