lmao dude, canelo said in his own words that he wanted the fight at 154 but floyd wanted 150, so they agreed to 152 as floyd refused 154 point blank

he said it in the first press conf, want me to bump the thread for you?

People act like the kid is a giant, Floyd walks around in the low to mid 150's so there isn't much difference between them. He will make the weight and Floyd will get humiliated in the ring.

I've been saying it for a while now. It is not beneficial for Canelo to be near Floyd's weight going into this fight at this rate Canelo will be smaller then Ortiz was. Canelo is going down in weight losing strength while Floyd is going up and getting stronger..Canelo must have at least a 15 pound weight advantage to have any shot they are buying into this he will be faster BS Canelo will never be near as quick as Floyd he will just be more like a normal welterweight

Based on this logic, the catch weight is a good equalizer.

I don't think weight is a big problem in this fight. But, the catchweight seems fair actually.

That is the perfect weight for him to be at, however, these guys need to take it easy on sparring. There is no need for guys to be putting in anywhere over 100 rounds IMO. People wonder why guys overtrain and "are never truly healthy for a fight" and that is the main reason. This may be a personal thing but 100 rounds max is the perfect number I feel, max out learning ability and making things becomem second nature can be done other ways besides sparring so much.

He doesn't have to lose anything... He probaly isn't even thinking about weight...

He will rehydrate from 152 to around 160 anyway... Progressive easy camp.

lol the same people who talked crap about Pacquiao doing catchweights are the same defending Mayweather lol

i think Canelo makes the weight comfortably, the point is Mayweather could of made the fight at 154 n all that crap he talks about catchweights n that he dont drained his opponents he fights them at there best weight lol

Correct so if the weight is the equalizer now experience comes into play which doesn't make this fight close expect a low output pot shot clinic for Floyd..
