if he fights him at 122 then he will not be able to avoid Rigo at 122 cos ppl would blame him for not fighting Rigo at 122 but fighting Vic at the same weight...so he runs away now ...just keep running, you wont run far enough ...
at least all idi..ts who said Darchinyan was ducking Donaire can STFU !!!!

He might feel better fighting at a higher weight but that doesn't mean that he'll actually fight better. Based on the Donaire fights I've seen, I believe there's a very good reason he's been fighting at 122.

At 130 and up, I think there's a very strong possibility that Donaire goes from a supposed pound-for-pound top 10 to a slightly-above-average fighter at best. That, obviously, would have huge implications for his marketability.

If styles make fights, weights make money. There's millions being made taking fighters and campaigning them in weight classes lower than where they reasonably should be fighting. Every once in a while though, one of these fighters gets Rigondeaux'd.

He's supposed to be, prior to his boxing education on April 13, a power hitting menacing fighter. Move your punk ass up and fight some guys who have some power too.

If donaire stays at 122 then he must rematch rigo to save face,,

I always wondered why they dont move him up to 126 and fight chris john in Macua.. I think that would be like an asian super bowl....
And it would be a fight that would return the hype to donaire if he won
