According to promoter Eddie Hearn, he will make an official announcement in the coming days regarding a planned event where welterweight contender Kell Brook (30-0, 20KOs) will face a "big name" opponent on a September date in Sheffield. Brook returned on Saturday night in Hull and stopped Carson Jones in the eight round of their rematch. The rematch took place at a catch-weight of 152-pounds. From what I see Brook is fast and have some decent pop, but his stamina isn't good for the elite level. Guys like Maidana,Mathysse,Lopez,Guerrero would whoop his arse after 3 or 4 rounds. He is best suited fighting guys like Alexander, Malignaggi, etc

I thought this at first but khans currently fasting which makes a September fight near on impossible for him.

I have a sneaky feeling that maybe it's Senchenko they're looking at, None of Ring magazines top ten are really available or not linked to other fights.

I would put money on it being Senchenko though.
