He was given an insulting purse offer -- less than or equal 50%. Any champion has to get at least 60%.

He over-priced himself out of a rematch with Pac. He wanted more than $1.4 million to fight Erik Morales, taking up most of the purse prize. And JMM is no draw either. Hell, Pac put him on the map for 15 minutes.

I offered to fight both Erik Morales and Pacquiao a match AT THE SAME TIME - but they turned me down when I asked for $20 million dollars from each of them. They're ducking me.

He gets a gift win from the judges & asked too much for the rematch. He didn't wanted the rematch, period! That is ducking a fight, in my book.

Whatever the sum was, the less than 50% offer to the champion is an insulting offer. Eric Morales and Manny Paqiao are more exciting to watch, but JMM is the one who has the belt.
