Crawford is far from boring. Beautiful punches and fights on the front foot for the most part. Calm and Calculating. He is going to be formidable.

Rigo throws beautiful punches, he's incredibly accurate and has power in both hands. He's calm all the time, almost like if he was a machine, yet people consider him boring.

The difference with Rigo and Floyd is that Rigo literally waited for Donaire to throw something, ANYTHING the entire fight. Floyd, on the other hand, was countering and instigating the fight the entire time.

I thought Rigo took it it Donaire harder than Floyd vs much less risky opponents. I just don't see any 122 fighters he could fight on HBO 500k+, say

Crawford is American, expected to move up to LWW/WW, which are glamour divisions. Prior to Donaire HBO hardly ever showed 122, and those guys normally don't command 300k+ purses even.

Rigo was more aggressive than Floyd in most of his performances, even vs guys like Guerrero who are much less threatening than Donaire. Donaire was running in the last round iirc.

Basically you can't have any complaints about that performance. Older Rigo fights, sure, but he wasn't running vs Donaire, just much too good.
