Damgaard is a real slugger with a lot of hart, chin and stamina. I think Damgaard is to big for Gatti whom is a natual Lightweight. just ask Greg Haugen and Khalid Rahilou what they thinks of Damgaard

Heart, yes. Chin, not anymore. Stamina? Questionable as well. He hasn't been active enough, and he's looked like RUBBISH in his last 5-6 fights. In fact he's received gift decisions to rival those of Ottke. In one fight, he was knocked down, the fight was pretty much over, and then he's saved by the bell. During intermission, Palle is in the other guy's corner, yelling. Next round, the other guy doesn't throw a punch, and goes down from a Damgaard punch, that doesn't hit him(the replay is so obvious, it's painful). That **** looked BAD...

I actually did ask Greg Haugen what he thought of Damgaard and he said he was very good...

          BUT

Keep in mind Haugen was a shell of himself an absolute shell.

Think Damgaard will get stopped on cuts late rounds - being behind on points at the time, though not by much.

(Well.....as good a guess as any)

Just dont think Damgaard is back in his best form - but then neither is Gatti, so who knows.

Whoever wins it's gonna be bloody.

I heard boxing fans in Jersey let people knock them down and see if they can come back to win and sometimes break their hands on purpose and see if they can keep fighting.

Damgaard will win this. I heard he's a boxer. That's all I need to hear.

Damgaard's version of boxing is walking forward with his hands high, and then throwing punches when the other guys is cornered. He also tries to roll, but his skill have eroded, so he does a poor job of it. I feel his handspeed is gone, and he basically can't throw a straight punch. It looks kinda like his arms won't stretch all the way out.
I've never seen Gatti in person, but if he's way smaller than Damgaard, then Damgaard may be successful. I highly doubt it though.
