Kevin Mitchell hopes his reunion with trainer Tony Sims will help him return to world-title level.
Mitchell's attempt to rip the WBO lightweight belt from Ricky Burns ended in bitter defeat, with the Scot dishing out a fourth-round stoppage last September.
The Dagenham fighter has moved to Matchroom promotions as he starts the rebuilding process and is training again with Sims, who moulded Mitchell into a successful amateur.
Sims was back in Mitchell's corner for his routine points win over Sebastien Benito last weekend and the 28-year-old is glad to have his guidance during a crucial stage of his career.
